Vasily Shukshin's film Kalina Krasnaya is famous not only in Russia but throughout the world. One scene from the film was shot on the first floor of this building, in a canteen.

Today, the restaurant bearing the same name as the film occupies this space, with film stills displayed along the walls like a filmstrip. Here you can try authentic Belozersk cuisine, with recipes tested by time.

On the ground floor, there is a Kulinariya (culinary shop) where you can buy local products, including Belozersk baked goods: bread, pies, sweet buns, twisted buns, and raisin muffins.
